Newly-opened leaves

click photo to enlarge
PHOTO
On a misty, and overcast day in the Forest of Bowland willow and larch were showing their spring green. And so too was this recently opened cluster of sycamore leaves on a branch above my head.

QUOTO
"When the hounds of spring are on winter's traces,
The mother of months in meadow or plain
Fills the shadows and windy places
With lisp of leaves and ripples of rain."
Algernon Charles Swinburne (1837-1909), English poet

Keep coming back
TB2 do you crop

I'm pleased to hear you keep coming back Anon. Yes, I do crop. I would guess that about 20-25% of my shots get this treatment. Those that are cropped don't have the 4:3 aspect ratio. Unless that is, I've cropped to that format :-)
