Morning by the creek

click photo to enlarge
At low tide, in the early morning at Skippool Creek, Lancashire, the curlews and redshanks are the yachts' companions .

"Full many a glorious morning have I seen
Flatter the mountain-tops with sovereign eye,
Kissing the golden face the meadows green,
Gilding pale streams with heavenly alchemy." (Sonnet 33)
William Shakespeare (1564-1616), English dramatist and poet
